The 06-type heavy-duty body armor uses two types of bullet-proof inserts. The bulletproof materials currently used by the US military are mainly aramid fiber materials. The second type of bulletproof ceramic insert is a typical composite armor. It is composed of a total of four layers of materials. On the front and back of the bulletproof ceramics, a crack arrest layer made of aramid fiber material is added, and a layer of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene material is added at the back to combine these four layers.
